Information We Do NOT Collect

AnimalFun does not collect any personal information from you or your children, including but not limited to:

• Names, email addresses, or contact information
• Location data or GPS coordinates
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Browsing history or usage patterns
• Photos taken or stored within the app (stored locally only)
• Search queries or favorite animals
• Any other personally identifiable information

Local Storage Only

All data within AnimalFun is stored locally on your device:

• Photos: Any photos you take or add to the app are stored only on your device and in your iCloud (if you have iCloud Photos enabled). We never have access to these photos.
• Favorites: Your favorite animals are saved locally on your device.
• Settings: Your app preferences (like sound settings) are stored locally.
• Progress: Learning streaks and progress are stored on your device only.

Since all data is local, if you delete the app, all this information is permanently removed from your device.

Subscription Information

If you purchase a subscription or make an in-app purchase:

• All payment processing is handled securely by Apple through the App Store
• We do not have access to your payment information (credit cards, billing addresses, etc.)
• We only receive confirmation that a valid subscription exists to unlock premium features
• Your purchase history is managed through your Apple ID account

Camera and Photo Library Access

AnimalFun requests permission to access your camera and photo library only for the photo collection feature. This allows you to:

• Take photos of animals in real life
• Select existing photos from your library
• Add these photos to your personal animal collection within the app

Important: These photos remain on your device only. They are never uploaded to any server or shared with us or anyone else.

No Third-Party Tracking

AnimalFun does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are:

• No advertisements
• No analytics tracking
• No social media integrations that track you
• No data brokers or marketing partners

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

AnimalFun is designed for children aged 3 and up. We are fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

• We do not knowingly collect any information from children
• We do not require account creation or registration
• No personal information is collected, stored, or shared
• The app can be used completely anonymously

Changes to This Privacy Policy

If we ever change our privacy practices (such as adding optional features that involve data), we will update this policy and notify you through the app or App Store update notes. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
